The Huon Charolais stud was registered in 2010, after using Charolais bulls in our commercial herd of Red Angus, Shorthorn & Murray Grey cows. We were amazed by the faster growth rate of the calves, reaching over 400kgs LW in just 8 months.

As we sell our vealers direct to a butcher, the dressing percentage is another big plus, over 60%. More money in our pocket.

The pure breed cattle are super quiet, which makes them very easy to handle and market.
